Pet Portraits

 

In addition to commissions of varying subjects, I have a special love for creating pet portraits. My four-legged children are a constant source of amusement and inspiration and can often be found unwittingly posing for a painting. What better way to immortalize our beloved pets than to display their personality with an explosion of color on canvas?

I find that many people who love their pets as much I do are grateful to have their personality and image captured on canvas. Whether from life and/or photos, I work with the client to achieve the desired results through several steps, beginning with a preliminary sketch and concluding with a portrait on canvas.

I offer three basic sizes:

• 16" x 20"
• 24" x 30"
• 30" x 40"

However, we will discuss the necessity of a different size canvas and adjusted pricing during the creative process, if we find it is needed to best enhance the composition.

All classes and workshops are held at the Artist's Alliance Studio School: Art School and Gallery of Sugar Land, 104 Industrial, Suite Q, Sugar Land, Texas 77478-3180 (at Highway 90 across from Schlumberger).

Adult Classes: Wednesday & Friday 10:00 a.m. 1:00 p.m. $25.00/class

Individual instruction in studio available by appointment
