Passionate, Purposeful Painter!

What brings me joy? What am I passionate about?

I believe in giving birth to beautiful uplifting art that heals and nourishes the soul and teaching others to do the same!

My goal for my art is that it leads one to explore the deeper meaning in my paintings leading to inquiring about the Light seen in my work. I love instructing others to express what they are passionate about as well!

What does it mean to me and what does it mean to you? For me, I love the Lord, Jesus Christ, and His creations inspire me to express my reaction to them with my materials and my goal is to inspire others to explore their relationship with the Creator of all creation. As an instructor, I love to watch my students grow as they embrace the direction their individual voice takes them. We are made in our Creator's image so we all desire to create and I am humbled to be able to guide, nourish and encourage others with my classes and workshops.

My wish for all of us is that as we keep growing as we look to the Light for guidance on our life's journey.

A few facts about me!

Born in Pennsylvania, now living in Houston, Texas, I  find the world is full of subjects waiting to be showcased on canvas. Using paint and various styles of brushwork, I capture the impression left by an encounter. Never tired of the journey of an artist, instead, thriving on the adventure that the materials combined with an image mixed with emotions take me. An impressionist, colorist, and sometimes abstract expressionist are a few terms that have described my work over the years. 

New classes are being added and workshops will be held in more places next year.
