Are you ready to explore your creativity in a fun, supportive environment? My classes are designed for both beginners and advanced students. Whether you’re new to painting or have years of experience, you’ll find a space to grow, express yourself, and connect with like-minded individuals.

Class Fee
$35.00 per class payable monthly, due the first class of the month as one payment.
How to Register
To find out if my class is the right fit for you, please call or text me at 832-418-0591. We’ll discuss your goals, and if there’s an available spot, I’ll guide you through the registration process. If the class is full, I’ll be happy to put you on a waiting list.
Once you’re in the class, I assume you'll continue each month unless you let me know otherwise. Many students from Katy, Texas and beyond choose to stay with the group long-term, which creates such a wonderful sense of community.
What Can You Expect in My Classes?
In my art classes, we explore a wide range of materials including acrylic paints, pastels, charcoal, and more. Whether you want to paint a landscape, still life, portrait, or something more abstract, you’ll be encouraged to express your own unique vision through your artwork.
Every student brings something different to the table, and I love seeing how each person interprets their subject. These art classes are a blend of technique and intuition, designed to help you grow as a painter at your own pace.

How My Classes Are Structured
- Demo and Theory: Each class begins with a demonstration where I teach key concepts such as composition, value, color, and brushwork, and more. I use a different reference photo each month to illustrate these theories, allowing you to see how these techniques apply to various subjects.
- Personalized Guidance: After the demo, students work on their own paintings, with individual guidance from me. You’ll learn through:
- My demo, where I break down theory and show it in action
- One-on-one feedback, specific to your painting
- Group learning, where hearing others' feedback becomes part of your own growth
- For All Styles and Levels: Whether you’re just starting out or returning to painting after years away, I've designed these art classes to meet you where you are. And if you're local to Katy, Texas, you'll find that painting in-person with others adds so much to the experience. There's something special about creating art in the same room, sharing progress, ideas, and laughs.
A Welcoming Supportive Environment
My classes aren’t just about technique—they’re about connection. Some students come for a creative outlet, others for the social side. I've had students from all over, not just Katy, Texas, tell me that painting in this environment lifts their spirits and gives them something to look forward to.
This is a place to relax, learn. and grow. Many say it's better than therapy!
Private Lessons Available
If you prefer more focused instruction or can’t attend regular classes, I offer private lessons in my studio or via Zoom.
- Zoom lessons: 1-hour minimum
- In-person lessons: 2-hour minimum
- Fee: $50/hour
I've worked with private students from all different backgrounds---some have never taken art classes before, and some are experienced artists needing feedback on a body of work. To schedule a private lesson, please call 832-418-0591 for availability.

What if you have never picked up a brush or can't draw a straight line, etc.?
If you have the desire to create and put in the time I would love to talk with you. You can learn to express yourself with paint, no matter your background. I'll walk you through everything---from starting a painting to knowing when it's done.
These classes are for all levels.
What if you have been painting for some time and just need "something"?
Sometimes the missing piece is learning how to apply design elements more effectively. I help experienced artists make the leap from "okay" to "wow" --- whether you are from Katy, Texas, or anywhere else.
My advanced students now paint more intuitively, with the "rules" in the back of their minds and confidence in their own voice
